Lean back and let Münster come to you. Your guide takes you by pedicab to the city’s most beautiful spots: from Prinzipalmarkt past the Wilsberg Antiquariat to the Aasee and the Promenade. With vivid stories, real anecdotes and stops at places no tour bus or walking tour ever reaches. No queues, no rushing, no walking — just you, your group and Münster’s most sustainable way to discover a city. Award-winner: Münster Environmental Prize 2024 and Mobility Prize 2025.
Perfect for anyone who wants to truly get to know Münster — whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth ride along the Promenade. Ideal for guests with mobility limitations: no walking, no standing, hotel pick-up available. For families with children, couples, friend groups and everyone who prefers riding to marching. Up to 4 people per pedicab — the vehicle is yours alone, no strangers alongside you.
What to expect
City tour sitting down – Same stories, same highlights — but you sit back and your guide explains everything.
Beyond the old town – Schloss, castle gardens, Aasee, Promenade: closed to cars, buses and horse-drawn carriages.
A real guide – No audio guide, no self-riding. Your guide adapts the tour on the fly to your interests.
Hotel pick-up available – We come to you. No hunting for the meeting point, no detours.
Barrier-free & inclusive – No walking, no stairs. For seniors, guests with mobility limitations and anyone looking for an alternative to a walking tour.
Whatever the weather – You stay dry in the rain. So does your guide. The tour always runs.
Depending on your chosen option: 30 minutes, 1, 1.5 or 2 hours. More time means further routes — for example around the Aasee — and your guide goes into more depth on questions and stories. Just say what interests you and the tour adapts.
Standard meeting point is the Old Town Hall on Prinzipalmarkt — right in the heart of the old town, easy to find. You can also be picked up directly at your hotel or another preferred location in the city centre. Just add it at booking.
Yes — always. You sit in the covered pedicab and stay dry. So does your guide. Only in a real storm (thunder, lightning) do we briefly pause — then we continue. Free rescheduling if needed.
Five, seven or nine of you? No problem — we split across multiple pedicabs that ride together. Odd group sizes are no issue: nobody sits alone, nobody gets put on a different tour. Just enter the number of guests at booking. For very large groups or events, contact us via our contact form.
No problem — free rebooking or cancellation. Up to 14 days before: full refund. 13–7 days: 85%. 6 days to 48 hours: 50%. Under 48 hours: no refund. Rebooking is always free via the customer portal.
Yes — the pedicab is exactly the right transport when walking is difficult. You get picked up, ride comfortably and see everything without taking a single step. Wheelchair users: please get in touch briefly before booking so we can plan the optimal boarding.
Not at all. Your guide explains everything — with real stories and anecdotes you won’t find in any guidebook. First visit or tenth: you’ll learn something new.
We wait a short while. If less than 30 minutes of the booked tour remain, the tour unfortunately has to be considered as taken. Please book with some buffer if in doubt.
Always. Every Classic City Tour runs with one of our experienced guides — no self-riding, no audio guide. The guides know Münster inside out and adapt the tour spontaneously to your interests.
